2.) There are many different kind of sensors. But some examples are, temperature sensor, a light sensor and a humidity sensor

3.) Because it ensures that as soon as you connect up the system and start taking measurements, you are capturing the real values. If the system was not calibrated the numbers the computer recieves will be meaningless

4.) feed bak is adjusting the outbputs according to the inputs. An example is when the temperature sensor says it is too cold the system turns on the heaters and closes the ventilators. This will raise the temperature and the sensor will tell the system that the temperature is rising
