IT homework for January 23rd
Pgs. 136-1371.
1.) Electronic temperature sensors connected to a computer system are able to measure to an accuracy of atleast 0.1 degrees
2.)The sensor which is built into an electronic circuit generates varying electrical signals as the quantity cahnges.
pgs. 138-139
1.) -What do you need to measure?
- How often do the readings need to be recorded?
- Which sensors will you need?
2.) There are many different kind of sensors. But some examples are, temperature sensor, a light sensor and a humidity sensor
3.) Because it ensures that as soon as you connect up the system and start taking measurements, you are capturing the real values. If the system was not calibrated the numbers the computer recieves will be meaningless
4.) No, because it would destory the calibration and distort the values
pg. 140-141
1.) Visual data logging systems can be used to show the effects of such things as coastal erosion, changes in vegetation, agricultural development, land temperatures and urban growth. They are located in remote areas
2.)- agricultural development
- land temperatures
4.) feed bak is adjusting the outbputs according to the inputs. An example is when the temperature sensor says it is too cold the system turns on the heaters and closes the ventilators. This will raise the temperature and the sensor will tell the system that the temperature is rising
